BEFORE YOU PLAY

Browser game
requirements

A browser link is only the starting point. Check the files, controls, and project instructions before a session.

Do you need game files?

Read the original project before downloading anything. The Skate 3 fan project requires your own converted game data. WebXash also requires your own game files. Diablo Web offers a shareware demo, while full-game mode requires your own data. We do not host or supply those files.

Our entry checks of QuakeWorld and Surfd did not request game files. That does not establish every requirement for a complete session.

Desktop is not mobile

Surfd specifies keyboard and mouse. Mouse capture lets a game use your mouse to look around, rather than move the pointer outside the game.

We have not verified mobile gameplay for this collection. Viewing this directory on a phone does not mean the linked games support touch controls.

If a project does not load

  1. Read the original project's current loading or error message.
  2. Check whether it needs game files, permissions, or a particular browser.
  3. If it reports a connection problem, retry later. A network error on one device is not proof of a universal outage.
  4. Use the project author's own support links. Do not install unrelated software just because a directory mentions a product name.

What our status labels mean

Entry / menu / board / tutorial checked
The named screen or tutorial opened. These labels do not mean a complete session, every control, or multiplayer was tested.
Basic input checked
A limited control or opening action produced an observable response. This does not establish a finished game or all controls.
Scene / workspace loaded
A game scene appeared; controls and a finished run are not necessarily verified.
Requirements checked
We read the setup requirements; gameplay was not tested.
Recheck unavailable
A later attempt could not confirm availability; earlier observations remain limited.
