SIMULATION / BROWSER PROJECT
Sandspiel in browser
Max Bittker's falling-sand sandbox responded to Sand and Water selections and pointer strokes. We inspected Info without publishing artwork; saves, community sharing and mobile remain unverified.

Basis: project instructions and limited desktop entry observation. Observations: Oct 16, 2026. Conditions organized: October 16, 2026.
Sand and Water selections followed by pointer strokes visibly added material to the canvas. No artwork was uploaded and no sign-in appeared before painting; saves, sharing and touch input were not tested.
Source & instructions (opens in a new tab)Project type: Native browser game
Max Bittker's original repository identifies an original falling-sand browser simulation using Rust/WASM, WebGL and JavaScript. It is not a console emulator or commercial-game port.
Classification organized October 16, 2026 from the recorded source and check notes; not a new gameplay test.
Before you open it
- The original online canvas loads its own code and resources; no visitor-supplied game archive was requested in this check
- Drawing in the canvas is different from publishing to the community; no sharing, upload or account workflow was tested
- Info links a separate App Store product and Sandspiel Studio; neither is required by the checked browser route or covered by this result
Getting started
- Open sandspiel.club and distinguish the simulation canvas and material palette from any advertising beside them.
- Choose Sand, then press and drag inside the canvas. Our stroke appeared and fell; selecting Water produced a separate blue stroke.
- Use Info to read the creator and material notes, then close it to return. We stopped without Reset, publishing, importing or saving a creation.
What we checked
On October 16, 2026, the original site opened a material palette and an active canvas containing sand and plants. Selecting Sand and dragging across the canvas produced a falling sand stroke. Selecting Water and dragging elsewhere produced a blue water stroke. Info opened a panel crediting Max Bittker and linking the original repository; closing it returned to the canvas. The screenshot shows the resulting scene, not a blank new-world guarantee. A separate advertising column appeared and was not followed. No registration, payment or own-file upload was requested before these actions. We did not reset existing canvas data, publish artwork, sign in, import or export a creation, test phone input or assess a long session.
Desktop browser · Oct 16, 2026
The original repository identifies this as a browser cellular-automata game using Rust compiled to WebAssembly, WebGL and JavaScript. It is an original web sandbox, not a console emulator or commercial-game port. The author page's technical history is not a device benchmark, and the displayed FPS counter was not treated as one. Online community features and related products are separate from the local painting path checked here.

Which Sandspiel project?
This Sandspiel browser guide follows Max Bittker's original sandspiel.club release. We checked the live simulation rather than a copy embedded by another directory. The entry already contained a low sand floor and plants, with a material palette beside it. Choosing Sand and drawing added a visible falling stroke; choosing Water produced a blue stroke elsewhere. Info identified the creator and linked the source. These observations are useful for distinguishing a working local canvas from the site's separate community and publishing features, which we did not use.
Our desktop visit and source review took place on October 16, 2026. The public image records the actual resulting canvas after painting and visiting Info. It is not a tutorial illustration or a claim that every new visit starts with that arrangement. The frame excludes a separate advertising column while preserving the simulation and its tools. We did not follow advertisements, download an app or inspect other visitors' creations. The original browser release, Sandspiel Studio and the linked App Store product should not be treated as one tested experience.
Guide published . Source reviewed . Author release-page publication: Not established. The reviewed repository and live Info panel did not establish an exact first publication day for this browser release.

Game files
No own game data, archive or uploaded image was requested before the canvas and two material strokes. The page still loaded its runtime and resources online; it was not an offline session. We did not measure transfer size, storage consumption or what a later browser restart would preserve. The file label means that this specific painting path did not ask the visitor to bring data. It does not promise that importing a creation, recovering an older canvas or using a related product has the same requirements. This directory supplies a link and notes, not the simulation code or a collection of user artwork.
Controls
We selected Sand in the visible palette and dragged horizontally through the open canvas. A sand-colored stroke appeared and fell toward the material below. Selecting Water and dragging at another height produced blue particles that also moved. Those visible changes support a pointer-input classification. They do not validate every brush size, material reaction, keyboard shortcut or touch gesture. Info opened the creator and material notes, and its close control returned to the canvas. The final image shows a play-triangle control after that visit; we did not separately validate the complete pause-and-resume cycle. Avoid confusing a palette selection with a successful stroke: the important evidence was material appearing in the canvas.
Account
No registration, password, payment or email was requested on the path through the canvas, painting and Info. We entered no personal details and published nothing. That narrow result does not establish whether community uploads, comments or a related service require an account. Local drawing and public posting are different actions with different consequences. Our check stopped before any sharing workflow. The directory's bookmark button only keeps a reference to this guide in the visitor's browser; it does not save a Sandspiel scene, connect to the creator's service or back up artwork.
Mobile gameplay
Not tested. Desktop pointer painting does not establish a usable phone layout, multi-touch behavior or dependable performance on a smaller device. We did not rotate a phone, draw with a finger, test browser toolbars or measure heat and battery use. Info's App Store link is a separate product link, not evidence for this browser session. Responsive checks on Tab Game Guide only verify that this guide remains readable. They do not turn a source description or a successful desktop stroke into a verified mobile-game result.
Full session
The canvas was active on entry and responded to two material selections and strokes. We then read Info and returned. This is a small interaction sample in an open-ended sandbox, not a complete campaign or a long stability test. We did not try every element, construct a complex machine, publish a scene or establish repeatable scientific behavior from the material descriptions. No creation was exported or recovered after a restart. Reset was deliberately left unused so the check did not erase an existing canvas. A scene that contains growing plants and settling material is evidence of simulation activity, but not a guarantee about long-running creations or preservation.
HTTP link check
A separate HTTPS request to the exact sandspiel.club root returned HTTP 200 with zero redirects on October 16, 2026, with certificate validation enabled. That establishes an available document at the checked address. The browser observations separately establish that its palette and canvas loaded. Neither result proves that advertisements, community endpoints or every future resource request will succeed. If a later visit opens the palette but not the simulation, record that as a different stage from a failed document request. Do not work around certificate warnings or install unrelated software to reproduce our check.
Painting is not publishing
Use the original Info panel to distinguish creator information, material notes and links to other products. We only painted in the visible simulation and read those notes. We did not test a community feed, public upload, artwork license, moderation or account recovery. An on-page advertisement was visually separate from the palette and was not followed. The displayed FPS value was not measured over time, so it is not a performance result. For the same reason, the settled sand and plants in our screenshot should not be treated as a transferable saved creation: no export or sharing step produced it.

Sandspiel browser FAQ
Which Sandspiel release was checked?
Max Bittker's original sandspiel.club browser game, linked by the original repository. Sandspiel Studio and the App Store product were not checked.
Did painting require my own files or an account?
No own files or sign-in were requested before the checked Sand and Water strokes. Community features and persistence were not tested.
Which controls actually responded?
Selecting Sand and Water and dragging in the canvas visibly added the corresponding material. Other tools, reactions, shortcuts and touch input remain unverified.
Was any artwork uploaded or saved?
No. We did not publish, import, export, reset or recover a creation. This directory's bookmark is unrelated to saving a Sandspiel canvas.
Is mobile or long-session play verified?
No. This was a limited desktop canvas check, not a phone test or a long simulation benchmark.
