Project type: Native browser game

The original Trimps source publishes a JavaScript browser game, credits Greensatellite and corresponds to the checked GitHub Pages resource interface. It is not a separately owned console title running in an emulator.

Classification organized October 16, 2026 from the recorded source and check notes; not a new gameplay test.

Before you open it

Getting started

  1. Open the original trimps.github.io release and read the welcome notice about browser-local progress and optional online saving.
  2. Our route selected Don't Enable, then Gather. Food increased and the interface displayed Gathering +1/sec.
  3. When Chop appeared, selecting it switched production to wood. We stopped before placing a trap or using Save, Export, Import or online-saving settings.

What we checked

On October 16, 2026, Trimps displayed version 5.10.1 and a welcome notice explaining browser-local saves and offering online saving. We chose Don't Enable. Gather changed to Gathering with +1/sec and food increased from 0. When Chop became available, selecting it changed food to +0/sec and wood to Chopping +1/sec. The final screenshot showed 53 food, 49 wood, an empty build queue and zero traps. Game Saved appeared automatically in the log; no explicit save, export, import or reload recovery was tested. No account, payment or own-file prompt was required for this path. We did not enable online saving, build a trap, capture a Trimp, enter combat, reset progress or test phone input.

The original published page identifies Greensatellite as author and displayed 5.10.1 during our visit. The active Pumpkimp event message and any source copyright date are not an independently established publication day. An automatic Game Saved log entry is different from successfully reopening or exporting progress. This is an original browser incremental game, not a console emulator; the source's browser-support notice was read, not independently tested across browsers.

Which Trimps project?

This Trimps browser guide covers the original trimps.github.io deployment and its corresponding source repository. The live entry displayed version 5.10.1 and a welcome notice about browser-local progress. It offered online saving, which we declined. Gather increased food, and selecting Chop later switched active production to wood. The opening counters and labels changed as expected. We stopped without constructing a trap, capturing a Trimp or starting combat, so this is a resource-control check rather than a complete opening strategy or later-world walkthrough.

The visit and source review are dated October 16, 2026. A Game Saved message appeared automatically while the page was open. We did not press Save or reopen the game to establish recovery, so that message is not presented as a persistence test. The final screenshot shows 53 food, 49 wood, an empty construction queue and zero traps. Those are the observed stop-point values, not guaranteed starting resources or measured long-term production figures. No account was created and no online-saving option was enabled.

Six conditions for Trimps in browser

Game files

The original resource screen and its Gather and Chop actions requested no visitor-supplied game archive. The welcome notice instead explained browser-local progress and warned that clearing browser data could remove it. We did not import a save, export text, select a local file or test a backup. Those operations concern a playthrough's state, not commercial game data required to reach the opening interface. The page loaded online; no offline or cache test was performed. A file-free start should not be interpreted as a promise that progress will survive every storage setting, device change or browser cleanup.

Controls

After choosing Don't Enable in the online-saving prompt, we selected Gather. It changed to Gathering, displayed +1/sec and increased food from zero. A Wood panel appeared during the opening progression. Selecting Chop switched food to +0/sec and wood to Chopping +1/sec, with the wood count then increasing. This visible resource and label response supports a pointer-input category. The rates are interface values, not a timed performance benchmark. Build, Trap, quantity selectors and later controls were not exercised just because they appeared. We did not use shortcuts or touch input, and the opening log's instructions are not a record of completed tasks.

Account

The welcome dialog offered online saving and we explicitly selected Don't Enable. The resource path then proceeded without registration, credentials, payment or an email. This demonstrates a non-online-saving opening route, not the absence of accounts from every optional feature. No online-saving provider was connected and no cloud restore was attempted. A browser-local save message is also not an account confirmation. The directory bookmark retains a link to this guide only; it does not export a Trimps save or synchronize its resources. We kept all account and recovery claims limited to what the visible dialog and tested route established.

Mobile gameplay

Not tested. Our visit used desktop pointer controls, not a phone or a touchscreen. We did not evaluate small-screen panels, touch targets, orientation changes, a virtual keyboard or mobile browser storage. The source's welcome notice mentioned supported desktop browsers; that statement was read but not verified across browsers here. A responsive Tab Game Guide page only makes these notes readable on a small display. It does not establish that the external resource interface, construction menus, later combat or local progress will behave correctly on a particular mobile device.

Full session

The sample covered gathering food and switching to wood. At the final screenshot the construction queue was empty and the Trap count was zero. We had not placed a building, captured a unit or entered combat. A Pumpkimp event message was present in the log, but no event reward or seasonal mechanic was tested. Game Saved appeared automatically; we did not manually save, export, import, refresh or restart to confirm recovery. That separation avoids overstating the scope of an idle game's short opening check. Later zones, resets, extended unattended play and a complete progression loop remain unverified.

HTTP link check

A separate HTTPS request to https://trimps.github.io/ returned HTTP 200 with zero redirects on October 16, 2026. Certificate validation remained enabled. The matching original repository identifies the deployment's source, and its published page credits Greensatellite. The version label in our visit was 5.10.1; it is not a permanent latest-version promise. An available document alone would not prove resource counters respond, so the Gather and Chop observations are recorded separately. Likewise, neither a 200 response nor the automatic log entry proves that online saving, file export or reload recovery works.

Local progress and optional online saving are different paths

The welcome notice makes the storage distinction before the first resource action. We chose the route without online saving and left account, import and export controls unused. It is therefore possible to report a working Gather button while leaving recovery unverified. Treat the automatic Game Saved line as a visible message, not as a successful round trip through storage. The screenshot's resource amounts reflect time passing during our brief visit, not a fresh-load guarantee. The displayed version, event notice and source copyright text also have different meanings from a game's exact first-publication day, which remains unestablished in this record.

Trimps browser FAQ

Which Trimps browser release was checked?

The original trimps.github.io deployment and corresponding Trimps repository. The live version label was 5.10.1 on October 16, 2026.

Did you enable online saving or create an account?

No. We selected Don't Enable in the welcome prompt and reached resource gathering without registration or credentials.

Which resource actions responded?

Gather increased food, then Chop switched active production to wood. The interface showed +1/sec for the selected activity; building, trapping and combat were not tested.

Does Game Saved prove save recovery works?

No. It appeared automatically. We did not press Save, import, export, refresh or reopen progress, so recovery remains unverified.

Were mobile play or later zones tested?

No. This was a limited desktop resource check, not a phone test, a combat session or a complete progression run.
