Five Gather catnip clicks produced five catnip without sign-in or own files. No field was built; automatic save text is not recovery evidence, and mobile was not tested.

The maintainer repository links kittensgame.com, and the live /web/ release credits bloodrizer. Its resource interface is an original browser project; mobile and Steam editions are separate unchecked routes.

This Kittens Game browser guide covers kittensgame.com/web/, not every branch or packaged edition with the same name. The maintainer repository links kittensgame.com and the live header credits bloodrizer. After an initial loading screen, our page appeared in Chinese and displayed version 1.6.1.6.r165. Five selections of Gather catnip increased the resource row to five catnip. A catnip-field option appeared, but we did not buy it. The observed result is manual gathering at the beginning, not a functioning settlement, an automation strategy or a long simulation session.

The source review and gameplay observation are dated October 18, 2026. We did not change the external game's language to make the screenshot match this English guide. The image instead records the actual labels and the five-catnip stop point. Automatic saving text was visible, but we neither pressed Save nor reopened the run. That distinction keeps an interface message from being promoted into a successful recovery test. The displayed version is visit-specific and does not establish a publication date or permanent latest-version claim.

Game files

No owned game archive, ROM, installation folder or other local data was requested before gathering catnip. We did not upload a file or supply a saved run. The page still loaded its online resources after showing a loading screen; no completed transfer size or offline capability was measured. A game save and commercial game assets serve different purposes, and neither was imported here. The repository provides source context, not an instruction that normal visitors must install development tools. This directory links the original web entry and records its conditions without mirroring the game or providing a prepared resource balance.

Controls

Our interface showed the gather action as 采集猫薄荷. One click exposed a row with one catnip, and four more clicks left five, against a displayed capacity of 5000. A catnip-field label and an additional food-production filter appeared during this opening. Those labels were observed, not selected as building actions. We did not refine catnip, build a field, assign a worker, change quantity controls or test a keyboard shortcut. Pointer-based controls in the directory mean the gather action visibly responded. They do not establish complete control coverage, touch support or an optimal route through the game's later resource systems.

Account

A Login link was visible, but the gathering route did not require its use. We entered no name, email, password or payment information and connected no outside service. The account field therefore describes a signed-out opening path, not a claim that optional accounts do not exist. We opened and closed the credits panel without following community links. Steam and Get the app were also left unused. This guide's bookmark is separate from an external account or saved simulation: marking the guide as saved cannot restore catnip, move progress between editions or protect a run from browser data loss.

Mobile gameplay

Not tested. This check used a desktop pointer and the /web/ interface, with no touch input, device rotation, mobile browser or app-store installation. The visible app and Steam links represent separate destinations, not mobile compatibility evidence for the checked page. We did not compare editions or transfer progress. Broad support statements in project documentation were not independently exercised across devices. The guide's small-screen layout checks only confirm readable notes and a correctly framed screenshot. The external resource panels, tooltip behavior and later controls may need their own device-specific check before any phone gameplay claim is justified.

Full session

The resource row reached five catnip, and the field remained unbuilt. We did not establish population, food production, construction, research, trading, a seasonal outcome or a complete progression cycle. The top bar displayed automatic-saving text, which is narrower evidence than a successful restore. No manual save, export, import, reset, wipe, browser restart or recovered run was tested. We also did not switch alpha, beta or another branch to compare progress. The screenshot supports the gathered resource total and available interface only; it does not prove that a settlement survives a season or that progress persists after leaving the page.

HTTP link check

An independent HTTPS document request to kittensgame.com/web/ returned HTTP 200 with zero redirects on October 18, 2026. Certificate validation remained enabled. The project root has a different role from this exact game path; our stored play link is the /web/ entry actually exercised. The loading screen, later gather response and document status are separate observations. A healthy document does not verify every resource request, optional login, cloud storage or future visit. We changed no security protection, installed no helper and did not use Reset or Wipe to investigate loading. Those controls affect progress and are outside this check.

The header exposes several branch choices and identifies the current web version, while the page also offers login and saving-related controls. We stayed on the initial /web/ route and did not infer that another branch shares its state or behavior. The Chinese text is an observation of our visit, not a required language for the game or proof that a visitor will see the same locale. Likewise, an automatic saved message says something appeared on screen, not that recovery succeeded. A precise report can confirm five gather actions while leaving all of those broader questions open. The original release and maintainer source remain the best identifiers when comparing another visit with this one.
